What to Do in Case of Malfunctions

Symptom	Possible cause	What to do
Device does not turn on	Battery is discharged	Connect USB charger and wait for turning on
2nd LED quickly blinks blue	No Bluetooth connection	Connect to the device from the application
2nd LED is steady green	Bluetooth communication error	Disconnect and connect again; restart the device if necessary
1st LED is steady cyan	UHF RFID chip error	Stop Inventory, restart the device
3rd LED is steady yellow-green	Charging error, overheating or battery fault	Disconnect the charger, let the device cool down, try charging again
Device does not respond	Software state failure	Hold the button for more than 12 seconds for hardware reset
alert sounds 3 times after power-on	The device is not in the SECURED state	Do not use the device for normal operation until its state is checked
Error code in engineering mode is non-zero	There is a diagnostic state or error	Record the code or send the device for service
